Tatjana was born in Russia and own Tatjanka’s pub and grill in Beacon Bay in East London. She got a shock when she was told her furniture would be removed from the pub for various reasons. She said spent a lot of money renovating her pub with the new modern furniture and its all gone because they took it all. She claimed there must be a mistake for taking my pub furniture away as my son has nothing to do with my business, I have worked very hard for this.
She said closing down Tatjanka’s pub and grill has affected her business as she used to make quite a bit of profit out of that pub. She also recently spent a lot of money redecorating the toilets and the kitchen, putting air conditioning and security door in place. Beacon Bay pub attracted a lot of youngsters which got her a lot of business but now it has been closed because furniture was taken away by the police.
She was very upset with this incident and decided to close the pub with no furniture. She said the pub was registered as a close co operation by previous business owner, who rented this property. She had to re apply for the license but as there is no furniture I decided to close down, she said.
She is still bemused by this because her son who is 31 has nothing to do with the business, why has she be punished for his debts.

Hosiers case was taken up by the American Center for Law and Justice who contended that the suspension violated his religious freedom
